Lucky for you, I am already prepping my favourite wines to pair with that smoky, charred goodness. Whether you\u2019re grilling fish, chicken, vegetables or meat, we\u2019re shopping for a range of wines that are delicious, fun to share, and pair perfectly with a clear evening of outdoor dining.<\/p>\n

I am a massive fan of vegetables in all their forms. So, the sides at any braai are the most important part of the braai to me (don\u2019t come at me).<\/p>\n

Whether you’re a mielies, slaw, or salad kinda person, look for a Chenin Blanc or a Chenin-based blend<\/strong>. My go-tos are the McFarlane Capitoline Wolf White and Tembela Chenin Blanc. They both offer the perfect balance of ripe stone fruit and citrus, balanced by driving acidity and plenty of texture. If you\u2019re keen for a braai broodjie to start, these wines will also pair perfectly with it.<\/p>\n
