    The Bistro at Brookdale Estate, winner of the 2023 Dineplan Reviewers\u2019 Choice Newcomer Award<\/a>, has just launched its new winter menu, featuring comforting bistro classics with a touch of South African heritage.

    To find the perfect wine pairing for your meal, simply ask your waiter about the wines available from the Brookdale range. These wines, cultivated on the estate in Paarl and vinified by the talented winemaker, Kiara Scott Farmer, are in high demand and sell out soon after release. The wine menu also includes the Mason Road range \u2013 also produced on the estate \u2013 as well as a variety of other wines produced by renowned winemakers around the Cape Winelands.

    The new winter menu is available for lunch (Wednesday to Sunday) and dinner (Thursday, Friday and Saturday). Don’t miss the opportunity to visit the Tasting Room next door to taste the Brookdale and Mason Road wines.<\/p>\n

    Thursday \u201cFire & Wine\u201d nights<\/h4>\n

    Starting on the 23rd of May, the Bistro will host “Fire & Wine” evenings every Thursday. Gather around the fire and enjoy a selection of dishes prepared by the chefs on the grill, with the option to pair your meal with a glass of Mason Road wine.<\/p>\n

    The menu changes weekly, featuring the likes of fresh grilled prawns or succulent steaks. Be sure to check their Dineplan booking calendar<\/a> to see what\u2019s on offer each week.<\/p>\n

    Join the team for their first Fire & Wine night on Thursday, 23 May, where they\u2019ll be grilling prawns over the hot coals and pairing them with a crisp glass of the Mason Road Chenin Blanc. Prices start at R260 for six prawns and go up to R620 for 18, excluding side dishes.<\/p>\n
