Aegir Project Taproom is a family-friendly restaurant in Noordhoek, Cape Town, with a brewery at its heart.

Since opening our doors in 2015 as a small, passion-fuelled brewery obsessed with pushing the boundaries on flavour, we’re proud to have grown into the kind of welcoming home-away-from-home where locals and visitors alike can sit down and have a laugh over great food and superb beer.

Whether you’re taking in the view of Noordhoek Beach from the sundowner deck with an icy pint in hand, tucking into one of our hand-stretched, Neapolitan-style sourdough pizzas, or sampling our killer coffee while the kids tear through the playground, our aim is to make you feel like family.

    We had an excellent time - the food was so good, the kids were happy with the playground, the deck was comfy with beautiful views. Will definitely be back!

    More vegetables with the meals please - at least one request. they arent just garnish. and shrettuce and slaw need to be made real. There is so much effort put into the beers, and the pizzas, and sourcing the burger patties and buns etc, just not into the accompanying sides. its just that i always get heartburn/reflux after eating there.

    What an amazing time we had! The food was excellent, service was great (although we had a dedicated waiter, anyone who noticed something to be done did it) and the setting is gorgeous. We will be back sooner rather than later to enjoy their epic burgers again. The pizza was also amazing.
