What better way to enjoy summer in the Cape Winelands than to relax in the shade of old oak trees with a picnic at Allee Bleue.
A walled grassy garden, with views of our vineyards and the majestic Drakenstein Mountains in the background all, combine to make the perfect picnic spot.
A Picnic basket, served at a garden table under an ancient oak tree or a Picnic-on-the-go hamper, to be enjoyed on the lawns of the beautifully manicured gardens, is the perfect setting for a lazy day in the Cape Winelands.
A jungle gym, jumping castle, and sandpit will keep children amused for hours while you enjoy a leisurely lunch under the trees. Kiddies Menu also available.

It was a lovely experience. Excellent food and friendly staff, beautiful and comfortable setting. My only complaint is the ice cream that was served with the brownie. It is a sub-standard product that should not be served alongside the beautiful desert. Whipped cream would be a better alternative if high quality (proper) ice cream is not an option.

A lovely setting spoiled by absolutely poor service - in fact close to NO SERVICE at all. We had to go and find a waiter for everything we wanted to order, and even then it took ages to be delivered. And its not as if the Bistro and Picnic area were very busy - in fact there were only -2-4 tables served at the Bistro. In the end Donovan started serving us...which led to some improvement. We will definitely NOT RECOMMEND Allee Bleue purely due to the poor service

Didn’t use the toilets at the picnic area, but the toilet at the restaurant area had urine on the seat. Unacceptable.

What an amazing day and experience! Everyone enjoyed it from the kids to the grandparents. Can most definitely recommend it for any family. Location is stunning and the food delicious. We celebrated my 40th birthday and it was memorable, special memories!
