Cape Point Vineyards invites you to spend the afternoon enjoying a relaxed picnic at our vineyard accompanied by magnificent wines and breathtaking views.

Our Picnic set up includes picnic blankets and prism shaped pillows to be used during your stay: a perfect prop against which to recline and soak in our sea, mountain and vineyard views. Although we do have umbrellas – please remember a sun hat!

    I came here for a picnic for two for my wife's birthday. The experience was not great. The food was good, but it's expensive for what you get. There was also no wine included with the basket which I feel is a bit disappointing considering it's meant to be picnic on a wine farm. The farm and location itself is stunning. However, we were placed next to a large party of people which completely ruined the picnic vibe. We could barely talk to each other due to the loud talking and laughing of the party. I think that the picnic area should be for picnics and not for parties. The areas should be separate, or spaced further apart from one another. Service was mediocre. I'm unlikely to recommend this as a place to go for a romantic picnic - it felt more like a sunday market than an upmarket wine farm.

    I find it very expensive for what it is. Service extremely slow although the waiters are lovely. Waited over an hour for our picnic basket and 45 minutes for a drink. When I think of the picnic basket I think of “bread”. So much bread. Cheap way to fill you up. Charcuterie was very thick slices. Had 2 baskets for 4 ppl. Both baskets were missing things. And because service so slow.. was too much of a mission to rectify. Dessert was a watery take on maybe an apply crumble. Totally inedible. Definitely don’t recommend the picnic. Venue is spectacular. So tranquil and magnificent. To go for drinks and view = 10/10

    What a fantastic experience! I can highly recommend this for a special occasion. They made my husband’s 30th incredible! After our prior venue let us down the day before his party; they accommodated us and what a day! Thank you for incredible food and service
