    We had a lovely birthday lunch, Robert our waiter was very attentive and the food came out right on time. The ambience and atmosphere at Casalinga is not quite what it used to be pre-covid but it was an enjoyable afternoon out in the country.

    My grandchild’s fillet steak was one thick piece and one thin piece that didn’t seem to be fillet. The thick piece was too rare. The mulberry cheesecake turned out to be granadilla and wasn’t a nice consistency. Otherwise I think the food was quite good.
