Nestled at the foot of our majestic mountains, in the leafy suburb of Newlands, Cape Town, Foresters Arms Restaurant and Pub (fondly referred to by the locals as Forries), is one of the oldest pubs in South Africa and provides the perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of city life.

    This was a worst for us, will not return. After all the hassle I received from your staff re my booking only to arrive and it was chaos. Food was not great, getting a drink nearly impossible. Why book when you allow the rest of Cape Town in any way!

    Unfortunately, service is always an issue at Forres. It has not stopped me returning time after time, but when I take clients (which is often), it can be embarrassing. On Friday, I twice had to get up to find a waitron. This must please be addressed. Thank you.
