    We were treated so special because it was a special day for us , the manager and her staff Mark were at our service and we enjoyed our steaks and drinks . Francks is a must visit when you are in Franschoek and we recommend it fully. Thank you guys .

    We really enjoyed Frank's corner. I was a lovely experience. The owner went to each table and Sparkes up a conversation with patron's which was very nice. Will definitely visit again

    This was my third visit to Frank's, which was, until now, a favourite with my wife and I. We've really enjoyed their food in the past, and decided to take our three daughters along for a visit on a Friday evening. Things started well enough, with reasonable service, good craft beer and amazing 'small plates'. But my mains course - the fried chicken with coleslaw and fries - was highly disappointing. The food was cold and the slaw had a weird, bitter taste. The rest of the mains were okay, but also cold and definitely not up to the usual standard at all. I didn't want to make a scene in the restaurant, so wrote them an email later, but received no response. Overall, this experience really detracted from the great experiences of the past, to the point where I won't go back. We are spoilt for choice in the Winelands, and where this used to be a great budget-friendly option, it feels like the standard has slipped significantly. What a pity.
