Located on the biodynamic Rozendal Farm and Vinagrier in Stellenbosch, Good to Gather is a convivial, intimate restaurant owned by husband-and-wife duo Luke Grant and Jess Shepherd. In summer, sit outside in the gorgeous courtyard under the oak trees, in colder months the dining takes place in the Vinegar Tasting Room warmed by a wood burning stove, with views of the cellar filled with the farms botanical infused red wine vinegars. The three course farm to table menu changes weekly, and incorporates seasonal ingredients locally sourced from small-scale farmers.

    As always, heavenly food, warm and friendly service and the most fabulous way to spend a Sunday lunch! We waited 4 months for this booking but it was well worth the wait!

    We had a lovely Sunday lunch. Interesting taste combinations. Very well prepared. Wine list with good wines.

    An absolutely magical meal under the trees. We were blown away by the flavours and the level of care that goes into every dish. And a wonderful wine selection too. It really was an opportunity for my partner and I to connect over a special meal at the end of his stay here in Cape Town. This will be a hard experience to top.

    Always an incredible experience at Good to Gather, Jess is a pure genius in the kitchen and her food is utterly delicious. Will be back for sure.
