    The setting is glorious, and the food was good, but we had some bad luck—meals not delivered at the same time, wrong items delivered to our table, and the invoice was completely wrong! I’m not sure that the good outweighed the chaos, unfortunately.

    Stunning setting in beautiful gardens. Food was amazing- big bread basket highly recommended with delicious jam, marmalade and honey. The eggs Benedict is also sublime. Will be back to try the fresh juices which I didn’t order this time: Definitely suggest you spend some time wandering around the gardens, art gallery and frolic on the swings and wooden acorns after breakfast. Really a magical place

    Thank you for a lovely morning. I had the granola bowl and sadly it was very disappointing. Not a peach in sight despite the menu elaborately describing ‘Boland peaches’. I was the guest of honour on the day and did not feel like complaining. Please do better, or remove afterthought items from your menu. Especially for that price.

    I enjoyed the treatment received at La Motte. They received us with professionalism and offered us a choice in seating.the service staff were efficient and proffesional. The service and food were excellent. I enjoyed the service, food and the absolutely stunningly beautiful venue and surroundings.
