Country Style Cape Vineyard Lodge and Restaurant. Le Pommier is child-friendly. Enjoy a rustic meal, good wines in scenic surroundings with family and friends. Our restaurant offers seating inside, outside under the trees and we even have a fireplace for the colder winter days.

Please note, our breakfast menu is served until 11 am only.

Please note: Our wine tasting area is not suitable for young children and toddlers. Families are welcome to enjoy our restaurant and outdoor grass areas, where kiddies menus and kids’ pairings are available.

    I went to Le Pommier for a Sunday lunch with my family. We had a warm and friendly welcome and ordered the food right after we arrived. The venue is nice, gorgeous view of the mountains. The restaurant wasn’t full, still, we had to wait for one hour for the food to arrive. Every time we asked they would say that kitchen was busy with our order, but still, one hour until we got our food. At some point They said the delay was due to a party that was happening at the venue, so disappointing. The food tasted ok, and looked like it was prepared in a rush. Unfortunately our experience was a little frustrating.

Waiting an hour for food, particularly when the restaurant didn't appear busy from your perspective, is understandably frustrating, and we apologise for the disappointment. While we occasionally experience unexpected pressure in the kitchen due to larger functions and group orders, we should have communicated more clearly and managed your expectations better throughout your visit. We also regret that your meals did not meet the standard you expected. We pride ourselves on serving honest, freshly prepared country cuisine, and we're disappointed that this wasn't reflected during your visit. Your feedback has been shared with both our kitchen and front-of-house teams so that we can improve both our communication and service during busy periods.     We had such a special evening. We sat right by the fireplace - it was a particularly cold evening - and it added to the warm atmosphere. The service was exceptional and the food was far beyond expectation - from the presentation to the taste. The only downside was the cream with their to-die-for apple pie. This was remedied quickly and the evening closed with tasty sweet treats… We will definitely be back!
