Maximillien Restaurant launches New Menu
The décor is reminiscent of the old school Balthazar restaurant in New York, and the dark wood panelling, mirrors and red upholstery, as well as the black and white checked floors and intricately pressed ceilings would find you thinking that you had indeed headed back in time to the 1920’s.
What can only be described as one of Sandton’s most well-known restaurants, the Maximillien is a stalwart of fine dining at its best. Floor to ceiling windows allow in soft natural light during the day and create a picturesque view for evening dining. Romantic candle light dinners setting the mood.

    Food was great, the whiskey tasting on the other hand was not a great experience for me and my family, we asked to have a second taste on certain whiskeys and was told we cannot, the whiskey that was poured into our glasses was so little that we could not even pair it with our meals, the whiskey experience was not a value for money and they were so selfish to give us a second glass to taste. Being for many whiskey tasting by far this was the worst experience thus far
