The children ordered a toasted chicken mayo which had hollandaise sauce on it along with mayo? And they both complained of hard peppercorns in their sandwich. Both only ate half - their favourite dish. The side salad was very nice with the panzo. Would have preferred to eat a wrap over a panzo but there are no light meals for the adults. The cost of food was quite expensive, especially drinks (R39 for a can of coke!), and paying R50 for kids to play is not going to last - we will rather go to a restaurant where we don't need to pay for the kids to play - the playground is nice, but nothing special compared to places that are free to play. The setup is lovely, the astro has soft cushioning which is great and the service was good, quick and professional.

Hi there, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We truly appreciate honest reviews as they help us continue refining and improving the Parque experience. We’re sorry to hear the chicken mayo toasted sandwiches missed the mark, especially if this is normally a favourite for your little ones. The toasted chicken mayo should certainly not leave guests questioning ingredients or texture, and the feedback regarding the hollandaise flavour profile and hard peppercorn pieces is something we’ll immediately review with our kitchen team. We’re happy to hear you enjoyed the side salad and Panzo, and we appreciate your thoughts around lighter adult meal options too. Our menu is still evolving, and feedback like this genuinely helps shape future additions and menu development. Regarding pricing, we understand value is incredibly important, particularly for families. Parque was designed as a premium family-focused destination with a strong focus on quality ingredients, scratch cooking and creating an environment where both parents and children can enjoy the experience together. We do understand that every family values different elements of an outing, and we appreciate your perspective. With regards to the kids' play fee, this contribution goes directly toward maintaining, cleaning and continuously improving the playground and kids' facilities. While we understand this may not suit every family’s preference, it allows us to maintain the standards, staffing and environment that help create the overall experience. That said, we’re really pleased to hear that you enjoyed the overall setup, the softer astro area and that the service was quick and professional. Positive feedback on our team means a lot. Thank you again for sharing your experience with us, and we hope we’ll have the opportunity to welcome you back in future. Warm regards, The Parque Team

We made a reservation on Goggle for 4 peoples . We were surprised to receice a retturn what's'up from Dineplan confirming our booking and requesting a deposit of R 750.00 - which is a first ! Our waiter Alfred was perfect and very attentive, despite the full house .Our food was well prepared -the entrecote , the filet ,and Lamb was perfect , the pork ribs leave to be desired -Our observations are as follows - Sunday or saturday are busy days , and we will avoid theses days - Parking is totaly inadequate . the car wash is taking some parking place that should be reserved for the patrons of the restaurant -if we take the number of tables, and patrons that can be accomodate in the restauant and the number of parking spaces reserve for the restaurant - the ratio is not acceatable .No parking space for disembarquing and embarquing peoples with low mobility - like my wife - Another remarks - when booking the table - i could not see that the restaurant had no wine license - in the restaurant area the table that can accomodate 4 peoples is very small and the chairs very loow .in conclusion- We will patronise the restaurant again , but not during the weekend and sincerely hope that the owner of the restaurant and the carwash ( Same owner) are working on a better parking facility and that we can be served again Alfred

Hi Carlo, Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback with us, and for visiting Parque. We truly appreciate it. Firstly, we’re so pleased to hear that Alfred looked after you well. We’ll make sure your compliments are passed on to him. Hearing that the entrecôte, fillet and lamb were enjoyed is also wonderful feedback for our kitchen team. We do, however, appreciate your honesty regarding the pork ribs, and we’ll review this with the team. Regarding the booking deposit query — as an owner-run facility, we did investigate this after your visit and identified that this was unfortunately a system-related error. The R750 amount is not a standard booking fee; it appears a user-selected option was triggered during the booking process, and we are already working on correcting this to avoid confusion in future. You are absolutely correct regarding parking. We are currently still partially under construction and are actively extending and improving our parking facilities. This remains a key focus area for us, including better flow and accessibility. We also appreciate your feedback regarding mobility access, as this is an important consideration for us. Just to clarify one point — the car wash operates independently and is not owned by Parque, although we completely understand how the overall parking environment impacts your experience when visiting us. Regarding our liquor licence, we are currently awaiting finalisation and have communicated this openly across our social media platforms and customer communication channels. We do understand that if this was missed during the booking process, it could be frustrating, and we appreciate you raising it with us. Thank you as well for highlighting the seating observations. We know these details contribute to the overall experience and feedback like this genuinely helps us improve. Most importantly, we're grateful that despite the challenges, you’d still choose to visit us again. We look forward to welcoming you back — hopefully with improved parking, a smoother booking process, and Alfred ready for round two. Warm regards, The Parque Team

Honestly a really lovely spot! The kids absolutely enjoy it and the kids food is excellent value. The adult menu is on the more expensive side but the food is good. Heads up that you can only order from the breakfast menu if you’re there before 10:45.

Over and above the food and that music is played at a reasonable volume, I appreciated the child minders. Eric, was checking up on my little guy, who just wanted to get into the water feature. My son is a special needs kid so it meant a lot. We left after running out of changing clothes but had an amazing time.
