    Had booked this restaurant a few months before our trip based on reviews and proximity to our hotel. Our table in front of the fire was wonderful on a chilly evening . Menu fabulous and all our meals beautifully presented and the tastes exquisite from the bread through to desert Staff responsive and very pleasant without being overbearing. A fabulous experience

    Our room was spacious and clean, the grounds were beautiful. The staff was friendly, attentive and helpful in arranging reservations and making suggestions for activities. Breakfast was delicious and served in a private dining room with a wood burning stove. Location was a short walk to the center of Franschhoek.

    Really disappointing experience. We were rushed from the moment we arrived, with the waiter pushing us to order all meals at once. Small requests like extra spicy chips, were not accommodated, because they only come with one meal option. Even if we paid extra. Staff seem unhappy and excited to see you leave. No management presence or even greeting.

    We had the most delicious meal for my birthday dinner. The food, the service and ambience were outstanding. I enjoyed everything about this restaurant and can only highly recommend it. It will become a fond memory. Thank you Reubens !!!
