Thank you to the entire team at Spyced for a truly wonderful experience. From the warm welcome by Manager Ashley to the attentive and friendly staff, we felt looked after from the moment we arrived. Our waitress Thato was lovely throughout; her introduction to the Cape Malay spice, complete with an engaging, aromatic “wake‑up” presentation was a highlight. Spyced’s fun, interactive elements make you part of the evening, not just a guest at dinner. The meal itself was incredible, compliments to the chefs for creating such a vibrant and delicious taste of Africa. We began the evening with the steady hand and artistry of Siphokazi, whose beautiful face‑painting added both charm and laughter to the experience. The drumming session was another favourite; we had so many laughs discovering just how tricky it is to keep pace with the rhythm. And the Level‑Up Jazz Band, with Harry and the team, created the perfect ambience, even inspiring a little dance moment. All in all, we’re grateful to the whole Spyced team for creating a memorable and special evening. We highly recommend this experience to everyone, locals and international guests alike. Go have fun!

Loved the jazz band...fabulous music! I usually take my group to GOLDS for the experience of the Cape Malay and dancing so was a bit disappointed on our new booking here this year - restaurant was quiet and not as lively, yet it was a Saturday night - Food was Ok - I will head over to GOLDS next year but wish you well on this location - just not for me!

Last night, some of the Live 4 Africa team enjoyed an unforgettable evening at Spyced in Cape Town, where every moment was a celebration of Africa’s vibrant cultures! From the rhythmic beats of djembe drumming and captivating Masala spice stories to an incredible feast of authentic African cuisine, it was an experience that engaged all the senses and brought us together in the most meaningful way. A huge thank you to Spyced for your warm hospitality and for sharing such a memorable evening with us. We loved every minute! ❤️🌍🥁✨

Our recent fundraising dinner at Spyced Restaurant was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we began planning the event, Louise Jardine and her team went above and beyond to accommodate our requests and ensure every detail was taken care of. The venue created the perfect atmosphere, the food was absolutely delicious, and the service was outstanding. Every member of the team was professional, attentive and genuinely committed to making the evening a success. Our guests commented on the warm hospitality and excellent dining experience throughout the event. We are especially grateful to Spyced for their kindness and partnership that contributed directly to the success of the evening, during which we raised an incredible R658,676.80 to support 400 young people through our Education-to-Employment Programme. For more info visit: www.goforgold.org.za Thank you, Louise and the entire Spyced team, for your generosity, professionalism and outstanding hospitality. We highly recommend Spyced Restaurant to anyone looking for exceptional food, impeccable service and a venue that truly goes the extra mile. Thank you.
