    All three our meals were not close to the standard we are used to from French Connection. Steak overcooked etc. Prices were abnormally high. Normally very good quality.

    Dear Wouter Thanks for your review and feedback. I apologise that your food was not up to standard when you dined with us. We work very hard to maintain a consistently good standard across the board. There are no excuses and I will take it up with the kitchen team. Our prices have increased, as has the cost of just about everything, but notably food and energy. Two of the steak dishes you ordered were high end SQ marked dishes. These prices are volatile and depend on supply and demand. I expect prices will fall in the coming weeks as the demand drops off. Once again my sincere apologies your food was not up to standard.     Food still so so Sweet potato fries nearly cold Green salad over dressed Duck ok but not great . Needs more searing and less skin Wine list not that interesting But I still like the place for an occasional visit !
