Slightly bigger than most other Hussar Grills, it offers a distinct dining experience in a setting that is reminiscent of old-school dining complete with dark wood finishings, banquet-style seating and wooden wine crates. In winter a fireplace adds to the relaxed, cozy ambience.

    The food the ambience was perfect really enjoyed my meal. I was a bit disappointed with the desert i had Malva pudding, I didn’t expect a cold store bought custard, I l was expecting homemade warm custard to go well with the vanilla ice cream. But either then that everything was good.

    My lamb chops were delivered to table cold. The plate which is normally piping hot was cold. The mash potato was sour and had to be taken away. You never had other mash so my Father’s Day favorite of mash and chops was a mess. They forgot to bring my sons Garlic source with his meal so that arrived halfway through his meal and we ate at different times due to my meal going away to be reheated and put on a new hot plate as well as having to order a new side because of the mash. Our waiter also forgot our water order so my son went to the bar to get for us. Poor evening at Hassar for us. Not what we usually get when coming to Hassar Campsbay Because we’ve always had great service will come back hopefully not same issues.
