Melkbos Kitchen features a front row seat to the most beautiful sunsets in South Africa.

Come enjoy a delicious breakfast, lunch or dinner with us. We have a varied menu (with vegan options) that changes seasonally as well as a blackboard with current linefish or any other specials we may be running at the time

Restaurant Hours (Summer):
Sun - Tues 10h00 – 17h00
Wed - Sat 10h00 - 21h00

Kindly note that we are in a residential area with strict zoning restrictions so our last food orders and last drinks rounds are called well in advance to comply with these rather boring but strictly enforced zoning restrictions.

We do love children and furry friends but are primarily an adult based environment so do not offer a play area for children or a kiddies menu. Furry ones are welcome in our outdoor area only as long as they remain on their leash, are not aggressive to other guests, furry ones or our team and they may not sit on our chairs or be fed in the dining area.

We are a strictly no smoking venue, regardless of what you puff ... a bench is however provided in an area outside of the dining areas for our smoking guests.

As a limited capacity venue we do advise that reservations are made well in advance..

    We had a wonderful evening Had friends from Jhb who we seated facing the view, they each had one of the fish dishes off the blackboard and lived them. Our waiter had a trainee working with him who was as attentive as his mentor was patient in his guidance. MBK you always just get it right Thank you

    Excellent food and fabulous service. Loved the atmosphere of the place, in a naturally beautiful setting. Would definitely recommend it!

    Service by Nic was excellent from the start. We ordered a calamari starter to share and thereafter the Rib Eye steak and sweet and sour chicken. Both were delcious. For dessert we shared the lemon tart. This was exceptional. A mix between tangy, sour and sweet. We will definately return.
