Set on the De Meye wine farm in Stellenbosch, The Table hosts beautiful lunches using produce grown by local farmers as well as other ingredients sourced locally such as pastured raised meat, farm eggs, olive oil and cheese. Our three course set menu – abundant and comforting country fare – is served family-style on mismatched antique platters. In summer tables are spread out on the lawn, a tree apiece to give guests a sense of dining privately in some vast garden. In winter dining takes place inside our newly added dining room that looks out onto the lawn and vineyard, warmed up by wood burning fires.

A table shared with wonderful company, good conversation, and home grown food – these are the joys of a meal at The Table.

    I have been to The Table about 7 times and its always fantastic. You can't beat it for a lazy "Sunday lunch" experience. Family-friendly, great staff, exceptional food and always a treat.

    What a wonderful lunch under the oak trees. The food was absolutely delicious and the staff attentive, explaining the source of the meat and vegetables. The food is substantial so set aside sufficient time to take it slowly and enjoy the afternoon. The hosts were engaging and made us feel special for choosing their restaurant. Loved it and would highly recommend

    What an absolutely charming and fabulous experience. The food was delicious from start to finish. The service was approachable, friendly and above and beyond. The location is idyllic and beyond quaint and charming. A+ meal from the moment we pulled into the drive until we parted. And the wines! Great as well.
