    From the moment we stepped into the Tsala Treetop Lodge restaurant, the beautiful ambience and high quality service swept us up into the most wonderful experience. The food was sublime, every dish was an experience with layers of flavour, texture and attractive presentations. The calamari starter was out of the world, the carpaccio was delicate and delicious. We both selected the fillet as our main. It was a generous portion, cooked perfectly to our different preferences, and the layers of textures and flavours were incredible. We both opted to have dessert, and complete the culinary experience. Both the creme brulee and the parfait were incredible and rounded off a fantastic evening. I enjoyed the fact that there were several good wines available by the glass, as we did not want a whole bottle. It has been a long time since we have experienced fine dining at this level, and the fact that the experience was multi-layered through the exceptional service and beautiful ambience made the evening an all-round experience for us. The prices of each dish were no different to some of the regular restaurants in town - and yet the entire experience was on a completely different level to a regular restaurant. We will be back.

    Absolutely fantastic hospitality and delicious dinner served at Tsala! Professional and memorable for our family member’s birthday! The team sand so beautifully and made our birthday guest incredibly happy!!

    We celebrated my birthday here. Service, food and ambience on a rainy night with cosy fireplaces was top notch. And nobody has ever sung and danced Happy Birthday to me as the team at Tsala. Highly recommend!

    I would substitute Ostrich for Springbok loin. Ostrich fillet just too little to work with. Calamari starter melted in your mouth like butter !

It’s rare to feel that level of attentiveness without it ever becoming intrusive — they mastered it effortlessly. The setting alone is breathtaking, suspended among the trees like something out of a dream, but what truly elevates Tsala is the people behind it. The service was impeccable — warm, intuitive, and flawlessly executed. And the food… simply out of this world. Each dish felt considered, beautifully presented, and perfectly balanced — the kind of dining that lingers in your memory long after the evening ends. Tsala didn’t just meet expectations — they exceeded them in every possible way. A truly special place that understands that luxury lies in the details. Highly, highly recommended.
