The mission:
Dineplan is the operating system for South Africa’s top restaurants. Johannesburg is our most high-octane market – it’s fast, fragmented, and full of opportunity. As our JHB lead, you aren’t just a “software rep”; you are a high-energy consultant helping owners in a tough industry maximise their floors and eliminate no-shows. You’ll report to our Cape Town HQ but operate with full autonomy in the Gauteng powerhouse.

- The High-Pace Hunter: You thrive on the Joburg “hustle.” You have the grit to cold-call five spots in Sandton before lunch and the network to get a meeting with a major restaurant group in Rosebank by the afternoon.
- The Floor Veteran: You’ve worked in the industry. You can read a floor instantly, and you know that in JHB, if you aren’t adding value in the first 30 seconds, you’ve lost the room.
- The Disciplined Operator: JHB is too big to “wing it.” You manage your territory and your traffic-heavy calendar with military precision, ensuring you spend time where the ROI is highest.
- The Frictionless Closer: You are comfortable talking money and “beating the target.” You move leads from “maybe” to “onboarded” with speed, ensuring a seamless handover to our support teams.
What you’ll actually do:
- Aggressive Pipeline Management: Proactively identify and sign up high-quality restaurants that need to scale.
- Strategic Territory Coverage: Master the balance between high-impact face-to-face meetings and efficient digital demos to cover the vast JHB landscape.
- Ownership & Transparency: Work independently but stay hyper-connected. You’ll use HubSpot to keep your deals organised and your progress visible to the CT team.
- Be the Market Authority: Become the trusted Dineplan presence in Johannesburg, building long-term partnerships in a city that respects results.

The essentials:
- 2+ years of sales experience (SaaS or Hospitality preferred).
- Proven track record of hitting targets and closing deals in a fast-paced environment.
- CRM proficiency: HubSpot experience is a major plus.
- Valid driver’s license and own vehicle: Non-negotiable for covering the Gauteng territory.
- Tech-curious: You aren’t an engineer, but you enjoy solving real-world problems with technology and can comfortably teach others to do the same.
