The mission:
Dineplan isn’t just a reservation tool; we are the operating system for successful restaurants. As our Durban lead, you aren’t a “software rep” – you are a consultant helping local owners solve the chaos of no-shows and empty tables. You’ll report to our Cape Town HQ but own the Durban market entirely.

- The Networker-Hunter: You have the grit to cold-call a new spot and the reputation to get a meeting with the city’s top restaurant groups. Your relationship-building skills stand out, and referrals come naturally.
- The Floor Veteran: You’ve likely worked in hospitality. You know the difference between “pre-shift” and “the rush,” and you speak the language of owners and chefs.
- The Remote Professional: You don’t need a manager sitting next to you to stay motivated. You manage your pipeline and calendar with discipline while working closely with internal teams to ensure a smooth sales and onboarding experience.
- The Closer: You are comfortable talking about money and value, moving a lead from a “nice chat” to a signed contract. You aren’t afraid to ask for the deal. You hit targets, and you consistently contribute to team revenue goals.
What you’ll actually do:
- Own the Pipeline: Identify, qualify, and sign up restaurants that fit the Dineplan ecosystem – restaurants that can benefit from streamlining their reservations and growing their customer base with Dineplan.
- Strategic Visits: Balance your time between digital demos and high-value face-to-face meetings where you build meaningful relationships with the right people.
- Manage Yourself: You are comfortable working independently, and you are able to stay motivated. You use HubSpot (our CRM) to keep your deals organised and your progress transparent to the CT team. Proactively communicating with your colleagues comes naturally to you.
- Be the Local Face: Become the trusted “Dineplan person” in Durban through consistent engagement and long-term relationship building in the restaurant community.

The essentials:
- 2+ years of sales experience (SaaS or Hospitality preferred).
- Proven track record of hitting targets and closing deals.
- CRM know-how – HubSpot is an advantage.
- Valid driver’s license and own vehicle
- Tech-curious: You don’t need to be an engineer, but you must be comfortable teaching others how to use an app and you are generally interested in solving real-world problems for restaurant owners.
