We would like to inform you of roadworks currently affecting several key roads leading to Boschendal, including: Paarl Main Road (R101) Klapmuts/Simondium Road (exit from the N1) Simondium Road (R45) right at the turnoff to Boschendal If you're traveling from Cape Town, the roadworks may cause delays of up to 1 hour. Please take this into consideration when planning your visit, whether for an event or a reservation. Boschendal wine farm boasts some of the most picturesque views in the Cape Winelands, with dramatic mountain vistas visible from the lush lawns. So, it’s no surprise that the estate has become a popular picnic spot, as families and friends come together for a day out. Enjoy a leisurely afternoon complemented by the best local, seasonal produce and treats. Our Werf picnic baskets include food made from our natural farm produce including freshly baked bread, green salads from our Werf Food Garden, free-range, handmade charcuterie cuts from the Boschendal Butchery, homemade preserves and one celebrated desserts.
