Cavalli Tasting & Picnics

Nestled among rolling vineyards, landscaped gardens, and mountain views, Cavalli offers outdoor experiences designed to be enjoyed at an unhurried pace. Our picnics are enjoyed on the manicured lawn overlooking the Helderberg mountains and surrounding vineyards. Each picnic is thoughtfully prepared, showcasing fresh, seasonal flavours, with the option to enjoy a bottle of Cavalli wine alongside. Picnics are ideal for relaxed afternoons spent outdoors, whether for a special occasion or a casual visit to the estate. The tasting terrace, overlooking the dam and surrounding landscape, is the setting for our wine offerings. Guests can enjoy guided wine tastings, a gourmet oyster and wine pairing, cheese and charcuterie platters, and our three canapé and wine pairing, each designed to highlight the relationship between food and wine. Tastings are hosted in a relaxed, welcoming environment that encourages guests to take their time. During the warmer months, the tasting terrace also hosts live music on the first Friday of each month, adding to the relaxed estate atmosphere.
