La Parada Olivedale Corner

We visited La Parada Olivedale Corner to celebrate our colleague’s farewell, and overall, we had such a lovely time! 🥂🎉 It was a special occasion for us, and the atmosphere was perfect for celebrating, laughing and enjoying time together. Our waiter was honestly the highlight of the experience! 👏🏽 He was friendly, attentive and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and well taken care of. Excellent service! I forgot his name, but I remember He did say that Ge was new, He was previously working at the Bootleggers next door. Food-wise, there were definitely some hits and misses. I had the deshelled prawns with mashed potatoes, and the prawns were absolutely delicious! 😋 However, the portion was soooo small. I only received four prawns, and after finishing them, I was basically left with mash and the gravy from the prawns. 😂 Luckily, the mash and gravy were so good that I ended up eating every last bit! Some of my colleagues ordered the wings and chips, and unfortunately, they were not impressed with the wings. They felt the chicken tasted old, almost as if it had been sitting in the fridge for too long, which was disappointing. Despite the food issues, we genuinely had a blast! ❤️ The vibe, atmosphere and especially the service made our farewell celebration a memorable one. I would definitely come back, but I hope the portion sizes and quality of the wings can be improved. And to our waiter , thank you for being amazing! 👏🏽⭐ You definitely deserve a special mention!
