La Vigna Restaurant at Lord Charles Hotel

I recently celebrated my 60th birthday and chose the Lord Charles Hotel to host it. From the moment I had my first telephone conversation they were so helpful. In particular Stefan Venter who walked the full distance in providing excellent catering options and taking the time to listen as to what my ideas were and ensured that each request and need were met. Needless to say, my day was perfect. Everthing was laid out elegantly, the food was presented on time according to my programme and all the guests enjoyed each course! I personally love a beautiful and pleasant setting and here too the Lord Charles Hotel ticked the box. One drives in from the gate along a lovely little avenue with the view of beautifully lanscaped grounds. The spaces in the hotel itself has been beautifully decorated and this provided a lovely welcoming and warm entrance for my guests where they could mingle and wish me before we moved through to the venue hall where I could host my guests in private. I will highly recommend the Lord Charles Hotel to anyone in need of a venue and a team to cater for your needs. They took care of all the main details, leaving me to do the minimal and to just enjoy my day!

We recently celebrated Secretary's Day at the Lord Charles Hotel with our principals, and what an absolutely wonderful experience it was from the start to the finish. The buffet breakfast was delicious, beautifully presented, and offered such great variety. Every dish was fresh, flavourful, and throughly enjoyed by everyone. The value for money was exceptional, and the entire experience felt truly special. A special thank you to the incredible staff for their warm hospitality, professionalism, attentiveness, and outstanding service. You made us feel so welcome and ensured that everything ran smoothly. What touched us even more was the generosity of extending our time ny an additional 30 minutes, allowing us to relax, enjoy the beautiful ambience, and savour the delicious food without feeling rushed. The extra gesture truly meant so much to us. The atmosphere was elegant, peaceful, and perfect for such a special celebration. Thank you Lord Charles Hotel, for helping us create beautiful memories on Secretary's Day. We are truly grateful and would highly recommend your venue to anyone looking for exceptional food, value, service and ambience. A well deserved 5 star experience.
