Eugénie
The Eugénie is a crunchy shortbread topped with a choice of fondant, caramel, or praline, coated
with a thin shell of dark, milk, or white chocolate.
Inspired by Macarons, this delicacy was named in reference to the Empress Eugénie, a major figure
of the 19th century and contemporary of the birth of Ladurée, who left her mark by making Paris
the cultural capital of the world.
