We had the pleasure of spending yesterday at La Pommier to celebrate my mother’s 70th birthday, and it was truly an experience to remember. From the beautiful setting and perfect weather to the attention to detail and exceptional service, everything came together so beautifully. What stood out most was how genuinely important it felt to the team to make Mom’s birthday special. It wasn’t simply another table or another booking, we felt that the occasion truly mattered to them, and that made the experience even more meaningful. As wine lovers, we have enjoyed many wine tastings and pairings over the years, and there is usually a wine or two that doesn’t quite appeal to our individual palates. Yesterday was a rare exception we absolutely loved every single wine we tasted and paired. Each pairing was beautifully considered, and the experience was refined without ever feeling pretentious. A very special thank you to Sam, our waiter, who was exceptional. His warmth, attentiveness and genuine care elevated the entire experience. Most importantly, Mom absolutely adored him, and he played a big part in making her birthday feel so special. 🤍 La Pommier has certainly set the bar high for us. It was one of the most memorable wine and dining experiences we’ve had in a long time, and we will definitely be back. In fact, we’re already thinking that La Pommier would make the perfect setting for a special date night somewhere to slow down, enjoy beautiful wine, exceptional food and simply savour the experience. Thank you to the entire La Pommier team for helping us celebrate such a beautiful milestone. You made my mom’s 70th birthday even more special, and for that we are truly grateful. 🥂✨
