Enjoyed my Friday the food was so nice i will definitely come back

Made a booking for 1830pm. Arrived at 1845 (sorry!) . We were shown a table and sat, and sat and sat. Waiter came at 1902 to ask if we had been served, told him no and i asked if they were busy as the restaurant looked empty and they were cleaning up. He said "no its just we are about to close!, infact today our kitchen closes at 7pm". Asked what the latest we could leave was, wemt to check with the manager and said 8pm. I just said thank you and we left. I expressed my greatest disappointment to the manager who had sat us down in the first place. She was very apologetic. It was the 1st of January 2024 and that dinner meant a lot to me as its when we discuss our new years resolutions etc with my kids. We then went to meikles which was very accommodating till 2230pm.
