Seebamboes

Situated on the mezzanine above Galjoen. It is an intimate restaurant with a tasting menu experience that riffs on gastronomic nostalgia in a contemporary reimagining of ‘surf and turf’ by demonstrating the broader creative potential of sea and land ingredients brought together in imaginative ways and washed down with offbeat wines. High tables with tall chairs create a faintly bar-like atmosphere, and through the large rectangular window, there’s an unexpected view of Table Mountain visible over the chefs’ shoulders. The design scheme imaginatively evokes the shoreline – that in-between place where land and ocean engage in a kind of eternal conversation. It is a creative, simple, and sophisticated space with the focus absolutely on the food.
