Our flagship restaurant named after founder of The Ranch, Mr Basil Shearer – Basil’s fine dining restaurant is the best way to describe The Ranch family business since it was founded in 1960 and continues to be run with the same passion and commitment that Paul and father Tom Shearer continue to strive for uncompromising standards and service culture. Today Basil’s is headed up by Head Chef Daniel Gee and highly qualified chefs that learnt their trade though learning from other chefs at The Ranch over the years and their commitment to offering an extra ordinary dining experience in Basil’s. The Basil’s team is well known for hosting special food and wine pairing’s that is accompanied by the wine maker.
