The Restaurant at Newton Johnson enters an exciting new chapter under the direction of Alex and Ella Rykaart, the husband-and-wife team behind Rykaart’s Restaurant in Stellenbosch. Set among the vineyards of the Hemel-en-Aarde Valley, overlooking Walker Bay, the restaurant will continue the Rykaart’s philosophy of honest, seasonal cooking and warm, generous hospitality. Chef Alex Rykaart’s food celebrates balance and restraint, drawing on classic technique while allowing exceptional ingredients to speak for themselves.
