    We have dined here several times in the past, but Friday the 20th was truly disappointing from start to finish. No reception person to receive us in the lobby to take us to the lifts that are through a locked door to start off with - a kitchen worker had to assist us to get entrance. We got seated next to a very noisy 22 seater for a 16th birthday party and very intoxicated people were were seated on the newly closed off patio area. I specified when making the reservation that it was my moms 75th Birthday. We could not even hear what our parents were saying due to the loudness of the patrons around us. `I am all for a good party, but I did state that this booking was for a special birthday - we did not feel special at all! The manager did not come and check on us at any time during our dining "experience" nor did they make any effort with making my mum feel special on her birthday. The service was extremely slow -and the waitress did not bother to explain the menu or specials to us. The food was extremely disappointing with my fillet being well done when I ordered medium, both the Thai chicken dishes were burnt and scorched. We have booked a few work functions here before and have dined here privately - don't know what is going on here, but we will not return. Super disappointed in the food and service here.

    There was a party of young people at an adjacent table celebrating a birthday and the noise they generated overwhelmed the ambiance, we were unable to hear one another at our table and there was no effort by management to address the raucous behaviour. As a result, our experience at 16th by KOI was extremely negative. Our expectation is that an upmarket restaurant such as KOI would have a higher standard.

    We had such a wonderful celebration at 16th by Koi. The food was out of this world. Fantastic views. And great service. Thanks.

    Waiter was thee best , food was okay.Could be better. Views of PTA are amazing at night. Will certainly go back again.
