2 Thai 4 was founded in 1998 when the first 2 Thai 4 opened in Corlett drive, aimed at serving tasty, authentic Thai food in Thai-inspired surroundings.
In 2004 we moved to 59 Corlett drive in Illovo, where we have converted a house into a Thai restaurant for more space and a better ambiance. We can comfortably accommodate 120 guests seated. For larger groups we will do a set menu or a buffet.

Not only does 2 Tha i4 pride themselves in being nominated “Best Thai Restaurant” in Johannesburg, but the staff also strive to make your visit as satisfactory and memorable as possible.

    WE are regulars her with good reason. The food is delicious, the service is great and they never charge us corkage. I think that's their pensioners discount to us!

    The food was absolutely amazing, our waiter provided us with fantastic suggestions on what to order and we absolutely enjoyed eating there. Wil definitely be back!

    All three of us had a really good meal, starters and main course, and service was efficient. Very quite for a Saturday night, which spoiled the ambience a bit (maybe some music?) Great value for money. Only negative was the security guard at the end of the evening with his hand out - doesn't send the right message if you already have secure parking in what is not a great area. (If it's that risky, why would you encourage us to eat there?)
