2 Thai 4 was founded in 1998 when the first 2 Thai 4 opened in Corlett drive, aimed at serving tasty, authentic Thai food in Thai-inspired surroundings.
In 2004 we moved to 59 Corlett drive in Illovo, where we have converted a house into a Thai restaurant for more space and a better ambiance. We can comfortably accommodate 120 guests seated. For larger groups we will do a set menu or a buffet.

Not only does 2 Tha i4 pride themselves in being nominated “Best Thai Restaurant” in Johannesburg, but the staff also strive to make your visit as satisfactory and memorable as possible.

    We had the whole restaurant to ourselves for our anniversary. Was a lovely evening, the food was fantastic and the service was top notch

    Overall, very good. Value is exceptional for quantity you get, food is very tasty. Loved the Singha beer!

    WE are regulars her with good reason. The food is delicious, the service is great and they never charge us corkage. I think that's their pensioners discount to us!
