    Parks is highly recommended, charming converted Victorian home that was very cozy on a chilly evening. Delicious food and wine served by a very dedicated wait staff. Driven past one too often and most delighted we have found a little gem.

    This was unfortunately not the experience I had hoped for. The waitress, Lisa (Lucy?), had absolutely no training. She was unable to unscrew the corks from the wine - a new bottle had to be opened and my partner had to assist both times while she stood there coyly. She was awkwardly standing at the table while my partner and I were chatting, making me feel very uncomfortable to continue conversation with the same zest I walked in. Upon spilling the wine, she was unnecessarily grazing her fingers against my boyfriend’s hand while wiping it away. On a side note - your calamari needs improvement. The total bill amounted to about R1.6k for my 6:30pm reservation last night. My first and last time. I will not be returning.
