For younger guests, our Kid's Afternoon Tea captures the magic of the ocean. Inspired by mermaids, sea creatures and the shimmering marina, this playful yet thoughtfully crafted experience invites children aged 5–12 into a world of imagination and delight — making Afternoon Tea at Cape Grace a memorable luxury experience for the whole family.

    What an amazing experience my daughter and I had at Cape Grace High Tea. We were celebrating my daughter's 9th birthday, and from the moment we arrived, the staff made her feel incredibly special. A special thank you to Leah for the warm welcome and thoughtful seating arrangement, which immediately made my daughter feel like the guest of honour—exactly what I had hoped for. As this was her very first high tea experience, every detail made it truly magical and memorable for her. Chef Lorraine personally came to wish her a happy birthday and surprised her with a beautiful gift, which was completely unexpected but deeply appreciated. As local Capetonians, we don't often get to experience the finer details that our city offers visitors, and this experience reminded us just how exceptional they can be. Every aspect of our visit was thoughtfully executed, making us feel like royalty and creating memories we will cherish for years to come. Thank you to the entire Cape Grace team for making my daughter's birthday celebration so unforgettable. We look forward to returning.

    Incredible experience, the service was spectacular and the food was 10/0. Thank you to the team for making my mom’s 60th birthday special. We will definitely come back to do another hightea!

    The sandwiches were not very creative. Breads all tasted similar, and wasn't nicely presented. Service was excellent! The savory snacks and scones were good

    My guests and I had a marvellous experience of this luxurious high tea. Thank you Cape Grace for treating us with such respect and reverence.My guests felt that they were thoroughly spoilt by how absolutely special the ambience made them feel. The pianist’s music during our hightea added a touch of class . The presentation of the treats from canapés to the grand finale paired with teas were well presented in stages. Nothing felt overwhelming. This has honestly been the best experience I have had in recent years. Well done Cape Grace! I’ll be back!
