For younger guests, our Kid's Afternoon Tea captures the magic of the ocean. Inspired by mermaids, sea creatures and the shimmering marina, this playful yet thoughtfully crafted experience invites children aged 5–12 into a world of imagination and delight — making Afternoon Tea at Cape Grace a memorable luxury experience for the whole family.

    It was lovely and the attention to detail for my friend's birthday was superb! The Piano add a beautiful ambiance and makes the whole experience extra special. Thank you to the wonderful and attentive staff. Would love to return!

    Absolutely beautiful experience at Cape Grace. We celebrated Zahra’s birthday with afternoon tea, and everything felt so special and thoughtfully done. The setting overlooking the marina was elegant, the food was beautifully presented, and the service was warm and attentive. A particularly lovely touch was the personalised birthday card for Zahra and the special bottle presented at our table. Those little details made the occasion feel genuinely memorable. Thank you to the Cape Grace team for making our family celebration so beautiful. A truly wonderful experience from beginning to end.

    The Cape Grace does afternoon tea as it should be, the traditional way. South Africa in general the last year or two for some unknown reason has started to call afternoon tea, " High Tea ", which it most certainly is not ! They are two completely separate things. The Cape Grace Service, ambience & location is amongst the best in the world. Although the hotel is obviously tourist driven given its location at the V&A Waterfront and expensive for us locals, it is always a pleasure to go there for an occasion. Well done to all.
