    We have been to Akti before, at other venues, and we have had a really good dining experience. The experience , however , in Bassonia, especially on Easter Sunday, was not a good experience at all. The fact that there was no Skinny Lamb chops, should have been communicated by our waitress upfront and not after the order was placed . Also, a cappuccino was ordered, and the cup had a lipstick stain on it, which put us off completely by then. The manager did apologise, but this ruined our experience completely. For a large table our waitress was really inexperienced. She wrote down our orders, repeated it back to us, but still got the orders wrong at various points during the lunch experience. Staff should be trained and then supervised/mentored , by a more senior waiter , until they are more experienced. Alternatively with large groups , a more experienced waiter should be assigned to the table. Prior to leaving, we had a discussion with the manager and he made no attempt to offer a discount on our bill, which was substantial , given that we were 10+ people. Overall, a real disappointing dining experience , given that it was a special family day.

    Our waiter served us with excellence. However our food lacked love . I had the chicken chops I’ve had it before at Akti Rosebank and it was a 10/10 when I ordered it at Akti Basonia it was completely different . My Husband had the 500g ribs there was barely any meat on it and it was cut up individually.

    Last night we had a birthday dinner at Akti and it was not a good experience at all. First of all they were not accommodating to move tables even though the restaurant was not full to capacity. Second of all the service took is extremely long and lastly the food was a disappointment, the food took extremely long to be serviced, the food was cold, each meal that was ordered was each in their own way not up to standard. The food had no flavour, some had too much salt, some had too little to no salt, it was bland and all together not a good experience. Will not be recommending
