    Sadly because it was Father's Day, I felt the service was compromised, AKTI should plan for more staff on days like this. My husband had the lamb shank, as nice as it was, for a premium dish of R365 could at least be presented better and come with vegetables (included). Shank was cold on arrival however this was sorted out. Our red cappuccino's were very weak and we waited about 20 minutes for them to be replaced. I do not want to put the direct blame on our waiter for the "okay" service as I felt he was let down by lack of staff that he is was reliant on. To compensate the Manager did give us some greek dognuts at no charge, tried to sweeten us up :). My experiences at AKTI has always been good but sadly this one was not up to par.

    We enjoyed the overall food. Was disappointed that I had booked and mentioned that I would like a bench because I'm pregnant and can't sit on the chairs. I was meant to feel like I'm a burden for asking that. If I didn't stand my ground nothing was going to be done about it. However the issue was resolved and we enjoyed the food a lot.
