What better way to enjoy summer in the Cape Winelands than to relax in the shade of old oak trees with a picnic at Allee Bleue.
A walled grassy garden, with views of our vineyards and the majestic Drakenstein Mountains in the background all, combine to make the perfect picnic spot.
A Picnic basket, served at a garden table under an ancient oak tree or a Picnic-on-the-go hamper, to be enjoyed on the lawns of the beautifully manicured gardens, is the perfect setting for a lazy day in the Cape Winelands.
A jungle gym will keep children amused for hours while you enjoy a leisurely lunch under the trees. Kiddies Menu also available.

    Too bad we can only give 5 stars, specially to service and ambience. Not only the place makes you feel comfortable, the service provided to us was exceptional. She could read the situation very fast and left us enjoy ourselves. We could also bring basically half of the food to have dinner. Amazing !

    The picnic was simply marvelous, views on the vineyards, the mountains and truly excellent food (way too much) is a reccomendation for everyone.

    The setting is beautiful and the picnic area was very nicely set up. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The normal picnic basket for two wasn’t too bad and the children’s picnic baskets were good. When making the reservation I specially ordered a vegan picnic basket as two of our guests are vegan. Unfortunately the basket we received was vegetarian and not vegan, so the guests were not able to eat anything. Very disappointing indeed!

    Very slow service, not accommodating initially to swap the wine that was included but at end did agree thank fully. Cornered off area for picnic instead of more secluded area on property.
