Apprentice Restaurant, situated in George, Western Cape, is the natural progression from the François Ferreira Academy. Our restaurant serves its customers delicious meals in an exquisite formal setting, where customers will get a feel of a genuine fine-dining experience. Our aspiring chefs in training at our state-of-the-art Academy, need a soft landing in the industry where they will prepare to go into the world and share a kitchen with another chef. At Apprentice, the chefs in training will be working as part of a professional team, adding their talent to the mix, and at the same time learning from the masters in the kitchen.

    We booked a private room for a birthday function. The food received compliments all round and we had a dedicated waiter who really took care of us well. Thanks to management and the team who made this special occasion great.

    The best ever....had a 60th birthday celebration at Apprentice. Excellent, friendly service with Johan and team going the extra mile. Food was superb, had a fantastic time.

    Lovely setting and view. The service was a bit disappointing as our waitress did not know what a "virgin cocktail" was and, after explaining what it was, said it could not be done. We then asked her to make the Pina Colada cocktail but without the alcohol. This when making the booking we were ensured that virgin cocktails can be made. The drinks service was also a bit slow. Other than that it was pleasant and the pizzas were great!

    As a Corporate Company this was our third time hosting an event at Apprentice Restaurant. The service and food is always excellent ! From friendly staff to beautiful views, we will sure be returning to this lovely venue.

    We were a table of 13 but the service was amazing. The food was so tasty and well prepared. What a way to close the seniors specials. Well done guys you nailed it.

    Honest opinion.... The venue is lovely and inviting. There is a calmness that makes you feel welcome. The staff..... Excellent from the welcome to the goodbye. This was my first time for a lunch Breads.... Excellent.... Wonderful There were no paté as per the menu. 🥺disappointed! The chicken pie..... Outstanding. It was Devine. One round of carrot and small piece of hard cauliflower with peppers....... Not nice. Gammon was a bit tuff.... Disappointed. The pudding...... Hero of the day was your cheesecake. Portion very small, but absolutely delicious 😋 The cookie thing was very dry. I would recommend a chocolate sauce with it. Overall ..... The service was absolutely outstanding. Will I go again to try the menu? Yes
