    Food was very delicios BUT… When I order two dishes that are advertised as containing truffles, I find it very disappointing that there is really only a minimal hint of truffle added. What really bothered me was that our food arrived before our two glasses of wine, and I had to point this out to the waiters twice. Nevertheless, very tasty food and beautiful interior design.

    The waiter serving us went the extra mile to get my wife and friend specialty tea at the end of our meal, when initially were unavailable on request. What was impressive he owned it and fixed it, this one action made our experience exceptional. I will be back.

    Early on a Monday evening, three of us went to Ariel Modern Italian based on published reviews. While the ambiance was pleasant to start, it rapidly became so loud we were practically shouting at each other to converse over dinner. The hostess did offer to turn down the music, but it didn’t make much difference as the patrons were already talking loudly (and at times a large party of 8 or so, were shouting and laughing raucously). The zucchini sticks as a starter were delicious, lightly battered and fried tempura style. The mayonnaise dip was overly generous (and somewhat wasteful) which detracted from the lightness of the zucchini. My chicken piccata was a large serving of two pieces of flattened chicken breast, tasty, but overwhelmed by the excessive melted butter it was swimming in. Instead of a light emulsion of lemon-caper-butter sauce, it was lemon flavoured melted butter leaving an overly buttery taste and oily texture. My friend had the spinach ricotta ravioli and originally thought it was a thick soup the sauce was so abundant. She didn’t finish it. Her husband had the Italian sausage rigatoni which had just the right, light touch of delicious sauce but sadly, just bits of tiny pieces of sausage. My original wine by the glass was not available, but given the state of the piccata, it really wouldn’t have mattered which wine I chose. The staff was attentive and looking at other tables, it seems the pizza was popular! Maybe next time I’ll order the pizza.

    Everything was fantastic. Except for the Limoncello. A different brand would be good to consider.
