Step inside Arlecchino by tashas, where the spirited charm of the Mediterranean unfolds on Sea Point's Atlantic edge. This is not a literal interpretation of Italy, but a space where two coastlines meet—one steeped in theatre and water, the other in salt air and faded glamour.

Arlecchino captures the particular insouciance of a bygone Sea Point era. It's designed to lift and inspire - whether you're claiming a corner table for morning espresso or lingering as afternoon light dissolves into evening.

The started were all amazing. The veal al limone was lacking in the limone a bit. It is a bit overpriced. R98 for 6-7 stems of broccoli is ludicrous. However the service was fantastic and the overall experience good.

The food and service at Tasha’s are genuinely excellent — no complaints there whatsoever. But the wine list pricing is where the experience falls short, and it’s worth raising. Cape Town and Western Cape locals are a discerning crowd — we drink serious wine at home, and we know what it costs. When the only bottle on the list under R500 is a poor relation to everything else on offer, it signals that the pricing strategy is calibrated purely for summer tourists rather than for year-round hospitality. This is a missed opportunity. A loyal local following is exactly what sustains a restaurant through the quieter winter months — and competitive wine pricing (or even a dedicated winter wine list) would go a long way toward building that. Price your wine with locals in mind, and you’ll fill tables in July. Right now, you’re leaving that on the table. A small adjustment with a potentially big return — I hope management takes note.”

Wonderful evening. Good friendly service. Great food. A bit on the expensive side but well worth it.
