Step inside Arlecchino by tashas, where the spirited charm of the Mediterranean unfolds on Sea Point's Atlantic edge. This is not a literal interpretation of Italy, but a space where two coastlines meet—one steeped in theatre and water, the other in salt air and faded glamour.

Arlecchino captures the particular insouciance of a bygone Sea Point era. It's designed to lift and inspire - whether you're claiming a corner table for morning espresso or lingering as afternoon light dissolves into evening.

About 30% of the menu was unavailable, including the pizza which is disappointing for an Italian inspired restaurant. In general the experience was below average from being seated right at the back of an empty restaurant to having every item we wanted to order unavailable/sold out, to a very disappointing pasta dish and very basic service from a fairly inexperienced waiter. The sea bass as an alternative to the sharing fish option (that was unavailable) was the highlight. I’d wait a few more months before trying out this spot so that they can find their feet. Really not a memorable experience.

Lovely restaurant with huge Tasha potential. Still finding its feet though. Unfortunately our waitress got everything wrong and the food took forever to arrive (despite restaurant only being half full) without our salads that we ordered as starters. It’s also quit pricey for what you get. The manager did try his utmost to rectify all the errors efficiently. Staff and managements all seemed very flustered. Not sure we will be back unless we get to hear better reviews from friends and family.

So many things were off the menu when we went, although the waitress was very pleasant she was untrained. Music was too loud had to ask twice for it to be lowered.

The food was very good but the service was very slow. The food took very long to come out. Once out the presentation and quality of the food was great
