Arum is the latest restaurant from acclaimed chef Peter Tempelhoff and the award-winning FYN Group.

Set within the iconic Werf building - the estate’s original 1812 cellar - Arum will bring a bold farm-to-fire dining experience to Franschhoek, celebrating Boschendal’s agricultural heritage with local, seasonal ingredients and a vibrant sense of place.

For Chef Peter Tempelhoff, Arum is about alignment - of place, produce, and philosophy. “Boschendal brought all of those elements together,” he says. “As a heritage wine estate and agricultural haven, it was an opportunity I couldn’t pass up - a chance to create something that reflects Boschendal’s deep connection to the land.”

    Our first experience at Arum, our food was nice. We found the food & wine expensive compared to others in the area of equally the same if not higher standard. Our waitress was very accommodating & likewise the barman after our meal.
