Arum is the latest restaurant from acclaimed chef Peter Tempelhoff and the award-winning FYN Group.

Set within the iconic Werf building - the estate’s original 1812 cellar - Arum will bring a bold farm-to-fire dining experience to Franschhoek, celebrating Boschendal’s agricultural heritage with local, seasonal ingredients and a vibrant sense of place.

For Chef Peter Tempelhoff, Arum is about alignment - of place, produce, and philosophy. “Boschendal brought all of those elements together,” he says. “As a heritage wine estate and agricultural haven, it was an opportunity I couldn’t pass up - a chance to create something that reflects Boschendal’s deep connection to the land.”

    Really AMAZING look + feel from the moment you walk down the path with the lights hanging in the trees. Friendly service welcomes you @ the door. Absolutely wonderful new experience for the winelands + food blending with traditional flavors + adding a touch of NEWNESS! Enjoy the interesting descriptions on the menu such as 'gnudi', also the 'risotto' , pain perdu, etc. Definitely a must on any foodie's restaurant list to ENJOY A DELICIOUS meal with VERY GOOD WINE selection.     The restaurant is beautiful, service by Arthur was impeccable as was the attention to detail showed by the rest of the staff that looked after us. Food came out timeously and was gorgeously presented. WOW

    We had a wonderful dinner at the new Arum Restaurant on Boschendal Wine Estate. The interior is stunning and the staff were excellent — friendly, attentive and professional. The duck and classic steak tartare starters were both fantastic, and the fillet was cooked perfectly. A beautiful setting, great food, and warm service — highly recommended.
