Home to a craft brewery, restaurant, bar, small hotel, organic kitchen garden, bakery, shop and boutique nursery, Barrington’s in Plettenberg Bay is a true multi-faceted, experience destination.

A show stopping triple volume reception gives way to the inner workings of the brewery and the imposing marble topped Barrington’s Bar, alongside which the quieter, welcoming atmosphere of the restaurant resides. Beautiful outdoor terraces complete with firepots and fireplace ensure alfresco dining is an option regardless of the time of the year.

The menu offers unconventional delights. A wide selection of tapas, slow cooked, free range meats, prepared in Barrington’s custom-made smoker, gourmet burgers and delicious salads are paired with fresh indigenous regional ingredients, including Barrington’s very own daily harvest from their showstopping organic kitchen garden.

    We had a superb lunch time experience. Great, friendly service. I had the Thai Green curry and a glass of Marras Piekenierskloof Chenin, excellent, and my husband had a beer tasting and the Double Smash Burger. Also delicious. Sitting outside on the deck in amongst all the greenery looking up on to the green hillside, was a lovely experience. Thank you.

    We love Barrington’s ambience and food . Our wonderful barman turned into our waiter last night and gave great service. Our only suggestion is not to play music in the dining room or bar when it’s a noisy evening due to sports or chilli festivals etc . The barman kindly turned the music right down for us as it’s easier to talk when there aren’t three different noise sources - bar, dining room and sports bar 😁
