Shocked at the terrible service. We were a table of 6. One drink which was an iced coffee arrived with the main meal, despite us constantly querying about it. The starter rolls arrived with the main meals. Waiter was really old possibly in his 60's and was trembling and shaking the entire evening. He could not even pass the drinks without spilling. It also took him forever to try writing the order. Sad thing is that the manager came to check on us only after we were half way through our meals, we decided to not to say anything as it was clearly pointless. I guess this is the reason why the restaurant was literally empty on a weekend before Christmas. We definitely wont be returning. The Sibaya branch is certainly 10/10 in EVERY ASPECT so we would rather dine there. It was so disappointing as our table of 6 has a couple who were visiting from Dubai, not the impression we expected to create to them with dismal service.

Beira Alta has always been my favourite Portuguese restaurants. Amazing menu selection. The pastas and seafood never disappoint. Great ambience. Friendly and efficient staff. 5 stars *****

Despite having a reservation, no table was prepared for us. We were offered seating either near the bathroom entrance or in a separate function area—neither suitable for the occasion. While the starter platter was enjoyable, the main courses were poorly prepared. The chips were oily and appeared refried, the lobster lacked freshness, and the grilled chicken was below the standard I’ve experienced at your restaurant before. Most concerning was the absence of any engagement from management throughout the evening, despite the issues raised. Our waitress was excellent, but the overall experience was let down by the kitchen and management team.
