Welcome to Bella’s at Camps Bay Retreat, where we are passionate about crafting exceptional lunch and dinner experiences with local, organic, and high-quality ingredients. From leisurely midday bites on the terrace to relaxed evening meals surrounded by nature, our menu is designed to celebrate seasonal flavours and soulful cooking.

Join us every Wednesday and Saturday for Curry Nights with a Cape Malay twist. A Taste of Spice brings together aromatic curries, vibrant sambals, and traditional sides. Served as a sharing platter, it’s the perfect way to savour soulful flavours in the open-air setting of Camps Bay Retreat, as the evening lingers on.

    we were a table of 8. there were no other people at the restaurant. 3 of the 5 steaks were over cooked - they replaced the steaks but i think for the calibre of restaurant there should have been some kind of offering to make up for half of the meals at the table being unsatisfactory and the fact that we all had to eat at separate times. . The setting is superb however i don't think i'll be b al and i wouldn't recommend it to friends/ Ot was a family occasion and rather disappointing.

    Bella's is a beautiful place with lots of history. The staff are attentive and professional. We had the Malasian curry sharing platter which was full of flavour, tasted delicious and presented well. It was good value and we will definitely be going again. Bella's also have a dog friendly dining area.

    What a treat! Just note of the times for lunch and dinner, since I grabbed a reservation for 17:00, but the kitchen only really opens at 18:00/19:00, and until then you have to make do with some cocktails and a limited snack menu. Still, the location alone makes it a worthwhile wait. Definitely a place to take some people you want to impress or just spoil.

    The view is absolutely stunning, the food was good, but the seafood was overcooked, and the prawns chewy. The dessert was amazing but the portion ridiculously small. The service wasn't great, considering that there were only 3 tables to serve, I shouldn't have had to wait for almost 10 minutes to finally get a drink.

    We were so looking forward to our meal there with our niece and husband from Dubai. We were sorely disappointed. We arrived and were ignored by the front of house although we had a reservation. The view is amazing but the rest sadly did not meet our expectations. The food was mediocre.
