    The freshest of seafood we have eaten in a long time. Great service and the waterfront view was just perfect. All in all would definitely recommend Bertha’s to all coming to Simon town

    Sadly this restaurant is not one I’d return to. The food was very average, curry tastes as though it was just meat out in a pot with a bit of store bought curry powder added, the garlic bread was so stale and toasted, the kingklip wasn’t cooked through and the service so very very slow ! We ordered a glass of wine from 3 different servers and still waited 30 minutes for it . We had to ask for dessert menues while the dirty plates sat on the table unattended . The location is perfect and with a bit of care and attention this could actually be a wonderful restaurant .

    Our big group really enjoyed Bertha's. They were able to take our orders in advance and had incredible customer service.

    Tough fish snd soggy chips . Slow service though friendly enough.

    It's really a great establishment but service was lacking a bit as we had to wait a bit long for anything to get to our table.
