The chic Double Tree by Hilton Cape Town Upper Eastside Hotel - Bistro31 offers an extensive a la carte menu and all-day dining in a discreetly glamorous atmosphere. Having spent 15 years honing his culinary talents across Europe and South Africa, executive chef Simon Kemp has made Bistro31's kitchen his creative home. Experimenting with a fusion-style menu, Simon is also a master at the traditional: his handmade burgers are legendary.

Should you have specific dietary requirements, please do let us know – with advance warning, Simon can ensure that there is something that meets these requirements. Simon is also available to discuss your catering requirements for business conferencing or special events held at DoubleTree by Hilton Cape Town Eastside, and will also prepare a tailormade menu for guests wanting to entertain small groups in the loft suites.

    Honestly would fly to Cape Town once a week to have the privilege of dining at this fabulous restaurant. Oh and don’t get me started on the staff - they are absolutely amazing. Best service I have received in a while!!!

    We loved it. The yorkshire puddings with gravy was delicioud. Preferred that above the dessert. Sirlion was also very good. We really enjoyed the meal.

    Food was overall nice. However no seafood. Food run out quickly customers had to call floor manager numerous time for refill. Waiter at the end she just gave us the bill without counting so we had to full the bill. Also dishes pile up on the table after a while however restaurant was not full. Overall place was nice cosy, big area, hidden location but nice.

At R300pp we have done our utmost to keep our menu affordable and with quality roast food.     We are absolutely pleased with the service rendered and the food that was served. We will definitely come again. Our waitress was simply awesome, she's a real peoples person. Thank you once again for such fine dining.

    Not enough variety, missing a staple carb like rice or pasta. For the price it is not worth it.

    Not a wide variety of food options. Can't call that a buffet- false advertising. Also put me on the wrong side of the restaurant... apparently a missed communication om their side.... not the best R7000.00 I spent
