Nestled on the historic Constantia Uitsig Wine Estate, Blockhouse Kitchen is focused on sharing our passion for accessible and seasonal food. It’s about staying true to our belief in simple and classic cooking. Where possible, we aim to use only the freshest produce from sustainable and local South African growers and farmers.

We offer an all-day dining experience, with a strong focus on wholesome and healthy food. We have extensive options for kids - breakfast, lunch and dinner. Our kitchen is conscious, using the philosophy of nose to tail, root to leaf. Not only does this have a positive effect on the environment but also allows us to be generous with you in portions and pricing.     We had a lovely and very helpful waiter. His name was Will. He made our meal most enjoyable and found me a cooler table when I found the heat unbearable on the deck.
