    My wife had the lamb shank and I had the Eisbein. Definitely very tasty and delicious and the best we ever had. We relocated from Durban three years ago and only found out about Bloemhof now from two waitresses from other restaurants who highly recommended Bloemhof. We were definitely not disappointed and will be back and recommend to other people.

    Would suggest a small play area for kids. Love the birds at the entrance - only a suggestion - not criticizing - if the cages could have clean news paper/paper in daily they would not look so "neglected (which I know they are not)). And if their cages could be closed up by maybe 19h00/20h00 as they also need their rest after entertaining everybody that wants to touch them during the day :-).... As I said, NOT judging - merely a suggestion. We LOVE your restaurant and will always give it 5 STARS!
